Our studio is located in San Diego, CA in the Sorrento Valley/Mira Mesa area just east of the I-805 freeway(west from the I-15 freeway). We will provide you with our physical address once your booking is confirmed- as we are by appointment only.
The viewing room, also called the Boudoir Boutique, is one of the many fun areas in our studio. Here you can relax while we’re processing your photos and then shortly after be able to view them to decide if you would like other products such as an album, a calendar, or an enlargement for your bedroom, private bathroom or walk-in closet.
We always suggest professional hair and make-up for your shoot(an additional fee of $125). Our hair and make-up artists know how to play up your best features for our specific lighting and sets, which then translates to camera much, much better than a traditional makeup application. Our artist will use the highest quality make-up and even adorn you with gorgeous false lashes. It’s also good to know that our chosen hair & make-up artists are the only ones Marissa and Kimberlee ever trust to do their own personal make-up for photo shoots and events- and they are picky! This is the perfect way to relax, sip champagne and really pamper yourself before you photo shoot. Remember this isn’t a direct service provided by The Boudoir Divas studio, but more a service they set up for you and your shoot. For that reason please note that you will be paying one of our contracted hair and make-up gals directly by cash or check.
Just above you can see the “photo studio” portion of our space- this is where the real fun happens! You and your photographer will have this huge private shooting area all to yourselves! We have so many different sets to shoot on (remember one set/one outfit per Production) and it’s here that we will coach you into gorgeous poses and take killer images that showcase you at your best!
You will have your very own private dressing room. Here we have babydolls, fishnets and stockings, lingerie, corsets, accessories and jewelry, and heels sizes 6-10. But just because we have a dressing room that doesn’t mean you should come empty handed, be sure to bring (at the very minimum) a cute black push up bra and cheeky or booty short undies that you feel great in. Then we can pair those items with the pieces in our dressing room. Also remember that you want to feel fabulous in whatever you wear, so maybe this is the time to go on a serious shopping trip to find the perfect outfit. With that said, pretty much every gal has those areas on our body that we aren’t crazy about, and that’s ok! We know all the tricks for minimizing sensitive areas and highlighting your faves, so keep in mind these simple tricks while shopping…. if you are sensitive about your arms maybe find a cozy sweater that we can have you pose and play with in your shoot. For tummy woes we loooove corsets. If you know you don’t want to totally showcase your legs, we are obsessed with shiny black leggings paired with a bra or tight tank. Wanna show it all without really showing it all? No prob, bra and undies paired with a see-through dress. Hot!
